basically how to make sure ur PoC character isn't a token character : 1) is it the only PoC character in your story ? 2) if you have more than one, are they extremely similar ? are they siblings ? 3) did you do some research on your character's culture and the community it belongs to ? 4) is your character being treated differently because of their origins ? if u answered yes / yes / no / yes, congrats u just made a fucking token character try again
