Compaq 32-Bit Network Controller
This is a EISA network adapter that supports both Ethernet and Token Ring. I never used this card and I can only assume I got it from one of the various outdated systems that I was lucky enough to acquire from businesses disposing of them back in the late 90s and early 00s. This card has a standard RJ45 port as well as ports that look like a 9 pin serial port and a 15 pin joystick port. I assume the serial and joystick looking ports are rather for token ring, but I may be wrong. If anyone is familiar with this card or token ring technology, please explain these ports. I'd love to learn more about this vintage technology.
