gojo coming to jujutsu tech and forming a tight knit group of friends in first year and then meeting the two first years in his second year and they all get so close and spend sm time together and then geto leaves and it all. falls. apart.
gojo noticing everyone spending less time together after haibara dies and it makes sense he gets it but then geto leaves and it’s just him, shoko and nanami. and they drift apart
maybe it’s on him bc he’s taking more missions and trying to distract from the pain and memories of his youth years that he’ll never be able to get back but wow he misses them
Here, have all five of them! (And I apologize if I got any of your girls out of character.)
"You want to what." Not for the first time, Shadow found himself wishing that he wasn’t the only guy out of the five of them. Okay, so Nico and Mew counted, mostly, (he still wasn’t sure how much gender applied to angels and demons, and frankly, he really didn’t want to know) but they weren’t here at the moment.
"Come on, humor us!" Hikari pleaded as she ran a hand along the outer wall of the photo booth she and Vibri had come across while scouting the area.
"Pleaaaaaaase? It’ll be fun!" Kita added, clasping her hands together and dialing up the puppy dog eyes to ridiculous levels. "I never got to talk Kat into doing this with me… before…" Her eyes dimmed as she smiled sadly. "He always said it was ‘too girly’."
An awkward moment passed before Kita shook her head and put on a fiercer smile. “And now he has to attend tea parties in the afterlife as karmic payback, so there! You don’t want to get stuck with tea parties, do you, Shadow?”
Shadow bit back a sarcastic retort and attempted to appeal to reason. “Are you sure we’ll even show up on film at all? I mean, we are kind of dead and all…”
He should have known it wouldn’t have worked.
"Of course we will! We will because we want to!" Vibri insisted with an emphatic nod. "And besides, it’s not like we can afford to pay for much else with what little yen we have, so we may as well use it here."
Alright, new tactic. “Look, we’re supposed to be scouting right now. We can come back to this once we’re—”
"Nooooooo!" Hikari interrupted. "By then, Nico will be back, and you know how he’ll be." She screwed up her face and started waggling her finger. “‘This is a complete waste of time. You lot are supposed to be saving the world, and you want to put that aside to take pictures of yourselves? How can you be so selfish?’ Meh, meh, meh…"
Shadow hated to admit it, but she had a point. Nico would just get unbearably high and mighty, and not even Mew was guaranteed to be able to stop him once he got started. And it wasn’t really hurting anyone, exactly, but…
Shadow turned toward his last hope, who had been silent on the matter thus far. Yui rolled her eyes and stared determinedly off to the side.
"This is completely ridiculous," she muttered in that tone of voice Shadow had come to recognize as the one she used when she wanted something but didn’t want to admit to it. "But… it might not be a bad idea to have some sort of physical memento of our time together, just in case the universe decides to pull some bullshit memory wipe on us when this is all over.”
Aw, hell. Shadow sighed and raised up his hands in surrender. “Alright, alright. I know when I’m outnumbered. Get in and we’ll take the damn pictures.”
He totally wasn’t smiling in any of the prints (which turned out perfectly fine, yes, Vibri, you told us so). It was a trick of the light. Or the editing software. Really. Honest.
