Day 30: A Movie I’d recommend for anyone that I have not mentioned already

Yay! I made it to the last day :)

This challenge was a blast to do and thanks nikhilsiddharths for posting the original list of days and questions!

I realized that throughout this challenge I’ve mentioned a lot of my favorite movies and movies I would recommend to people... so that kinda forced me to think about a movie that I knew many people would enjoy and have a blast watching.

So my movie recommendation for anyone who wants to get into the world of Tollywood or just wants to watch a good Telugu movie would be Mirchi. It has a fantastic cast: Prabhas, Anushka, Nadhiya, Satyaraj, etc. It’s a plesant family-love story. Plus as an added bonus we get a really really good looking Prabhas :)

I Hope all of you who’ve been keeping up with the blog and my challenge related posts have enjoyed viewing them as much as I’ve enjoyed doing it!

Day 29: First Tollywood Movie

Soo... out of all of the questions that I’ve had to answer for this challenge this would be the toughest one. Mostly due to the fact that I have no idea what it was.

I even asked my parents and they told me that it was when I really young...a months old baby so they don’t even remember. So I guess that means I have no idea. :/ From what they’ve told me I was a few months old so that means the movie came out in early ‘93 and I was taken to the theater to watch it with them.

Day 28: Someone I Don’t Like

Not a huge fan of Ileana D’Cruz. 

She started off her career in the Telugu film industry but now she doesn’t even seem to remember that it exists. Up until this point I haven’t seen her in any roles that prove her acting talent (specifically in South Indian movies). It just seemed like all of the roles that she got were because of her willingness to “expose”. Many of those roles could have gone to actresses who have talent and well....were actually Telugu. And all of those chances seemed to have made her arrogant and not thankful. 

I have yet to hear any good stories about her from people who’ve met her. So that’s all I can really say for my reason to not like her.

Day 27: Favorite Comedian

I’m becoming a fan of Sapthagiri. He’s began his comedic career with the movie Parugu and then slowly gained popularity as a comedian with low budget films. I think he’s hilarious and the subtly he adds to his dialogue and his physical portrayal of some of his characters provides the right kick to bring you down laughing. :D

Day 26: Best Dressed Female

Day 23: A movie that doesn’t* feature anyone I necessarily love but I love anyway

I felt like the word doesn’t was missing from the question because without it it really doesn’t make much sense, so I added it in.

I would have to say Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana . I know that’s an odd one to use for this day, but I do have my reasons.

I’m not a huge fan of Siddharth and Trisha. But I liked them together in movie and don’t me wrong...I’m not saying they’re bad actors or anything like that. But for some reason I’m not a huge fan.

The story, the music, and basically the entire movie was just phenomenal and I couldn’t help but love it. I still watch it every now and then, specifically when I’m in the mood for a rom-com of sorts :)

Day 22: A song that gives me feels

Song: Naa Manasuni Thaake

Film: Geethanjali (2014)

This song gives me goosebumps whenever I listen to it. It’s beautiful and the lyrics are very heartwarming and put a ridiculously big smile on my face :) I highly recommend everyone to listen to it!

Day 21: A song that makes me cry

I still don’t understand why but by the time this song ends I’m in tears. The emotions in their voices and the fact that you can see that he’s about to lose two important people in his life and nothing can be done about it just gets to me every time.
