i should have clarified that, the post was originally going to be “noun good, noun bad” but i couldn’t really stick to that theme so there would have been room to expand on it

canto bight in and of itself was perfectly cool, another wacky fun star wars setting, awesome. in a different movie it would have been a great place to set part of the plot. buuuuuuut:

in the plot of TLJ it served no real purpose and Finn and Rose’s whole excursion there was super unnecessary and added mess, confusion and weightless spectacle to a movie that already had way too much of all of those

Doesn't D&D allow two people to occupy the same space if they both allow it or they're grappling? The space doesn't represent the space your body actually takes up, it represents how much space you can *control*, the extent of your easy reach. So basically two people could be on a queen size bed unless one person decided they didn't want the other there. Seems realistic

i mean yes but also no? because you can duck past someone in that amount of space even if they might not want you to, etc. especially when someone being 5 feet away can already provoke an attack of opportunity, i just would rather see the base amt of space be smaller than the rules currently allow

Re: friend safari, they have to add you back for it to show up at all. The third pokemon shows up when the friend beats the elite 4, but the game can't get that information unless you're in game at the same time.
