I love the new Team Ianite 😳✨💜 Jordan puts up with so much lmao, I adore them both

Drew these goofy boys while catching up on Mianitian isles and was inspired by Toms enthusiasm and constant yelling of “JORDAAAAAAAN!!!!”

Ok but imagine S1 Dianite possessing Tom in a theoretical S3 storyline because Tom killed him and absorbed his power? How long would it take for the others to notice that Tom was acting different? More chaotic evil than before? Lots of angst to be had. Also, just imagining S1 and S2 Dianites interactions is *chef kiss* perfect

If we go the happy-ish route: They figure it out fairly soon. Dianite had a certain brand of cruelty, it was cold and harsh. He wouldn’t care to keep up appearances, so it’d be easy to pick up on the change. Even if it took the streamers a bit, since they were used to crack-head, bloodlust Tom, the S2 peeps would be startled by the change, at least.

They’d try to fight Dianite out of Tom, try to pull Tom back out. The works

If we go the angst route (of which many prefer, including me ;3c): They wouldn’t notice. They’d assume Tom got high on power, decided to lord it over them. After all, that’s what he did early S1, when he was in a better place than every one else.

They’d assume he just decided to go back to being an asshole since he now has free reign and the means to. They wouldn’t suspect a thing. And sure, the S2 peeps would get some whiplash out of it, but they’d be fairly quick to accept it since Tom always had a knack for wanting to get violent and be rebellious. Isn’t this just the extension of that?

And Tom. Oh, poor Tom. He would be stuck, waiting for them to figure it out. Would he know? That they assumed the worst of him? Or would he be trapped, silent and alone, stuck with only a Dianite that either no longer cares for him (if he even did in the first place) or that whispers sweet, sweet lies to him, about how he is being such a good champion, how his devotion will pay off.

And in the end, would they chose to kill Tom? If they never figure it out? Or would they figure it out all too late? When Tom is so far gone that they had no choice but to see Dianite lying underneath?

Imagine the guilt, then, to realize that they’d let Tom slip out of their grasp all because they failed to remember the good he could do.

Don’t go (Taint!Sparklez)

Something short based off of @the-moon-pal ‘s Tainted!Sparklez AU, not relevant to the other ask I wrote :)

“Don’t go where I can’t go” Tom clasps Jordan’s hands tightly, “please”

Jordan feels Tom’s head bow onto his chest, their weight dipping more into their bed

“Please Jordan...” Tom whispers, a small crack in his voice. Jordan can only assume he’s squeezing his eyes shut

Jordan hesitates before he squeezes Tom’s hand and watches as his partner’s eyes open wide and watery

“I won’t” Jordan presses his forehead against Tom’s, “I promise”

but he knows it’s not possible. He can’t keep this promise. Nothings a guarantee in life, especially theirs. And Jordan doesn’t know if Tom is choosing to believe in a small midnight promise and ignorance or not but he holds Tom tight anyways when he says I love you

“Don’t go where I can’t go” Tom calls after Jordan, laughter in his voice as he chases after him

Jordan smiles and slows down so he can grab his hand. It’s not a scared late night worry but a playful little statement Jordan knows is full of love

“I won’t” He effortlessly says, knowing it’s not the same thing Tom said before

They walk hand in hand to Mots house, the land of Mianite as peaceful as it ever could be

“Don’t go where I can’t go” Tom quietly says, leaning on their living room wall

Jordan grimaces, his head in his hands. He’d never admit how much their fights scared him. Tom’s passionate and he’s stubborn. If they didn’t agree on something..

“I won’t” Jordan mutters, leaning back into the couch staring up at the wall

He knows, even with their stupid fights, Tom still loves him.

And he loves Tom.

It’s the small things that remind him what really matters. A promise they’ll be together through thick and thin. As far as they can go

“Don’t go where I can’t go” Tom says into Jordan’s shoulder before he can get through the doorway

Jordan leans back into him. He wants to stay, he’s love nothing more

“I won’t” Jordan smiles at him, “I’ll be back, Ianite just needs a quick favor. It’s nothing serious”

A promise that he’d be fine.

Jordan gently lifts Tom’s arms off of him and kisses his hand. Tom watches with tired eyes as he walks away muttering stuff about ethereal blooms

A promise that wouldn’t be kept

“Don’t go where I can’t go” Tom screams after Jordan

The strangled cry only gets a smirk in return

Tom feels tears fall down his face as a purple sludge shoots from his arms and wraps tightly over his neck, his heels gripping at the edge of the precipice

“Jordan please” his voice is scratchy and everything starts to get blurry but he can see two eyes that are supposed to be blue glow green. A twisted smile that wasn’t Jordan’s. It makes him feel sick

“I’m not going anywhere”

A promise broken

Tom feels air hit him as his throat is released and he gasps before he realizes he’s falling to the ground below
