D’un coté une équipe de « the Galactic Confederation » pourchasse sur la Terre et à travers les siècles une dangereuse entité qui se nourrit de la souffrance des humains. De l’autre, à l’occasion d’un voyage touristique et mémoriel à Boston, un grand-père fringuant et ses trois petits enfants découvrent un portail temporel qui leur permet de poursuivre leur voyage de 2022 à 1965. Et les deux intrigues vont se télescoper.

Un roman « heinleinien » ; et à l’évidence il s’agit d’un hommage et pas d’une parodie. Et comme tel il a les qualités et les défauts des ouvrages du grand maitre des libertariens : d’un coté l’intrigue est enlevée, les héros forts sympathiques (de prime abord) et les dialogues pleins d’esprit ; et de l’autre il est explicitement clair que l’auteur est misogyne, pro-armes, anti-gouvernement, MAGA, etc. Ce qui pouvait encore passer dans des romans écrits avant 1970 par RAH et beaucoup moins digeste dans un roman écrit l’année dernière.

Apparently someone/group is going after the Wikipedia pages for right-wing Baen authors, declaring them non-notable and deleting them. So far they've hit at least Michael Z. Williamson (speedy-deleted and restored, but still de-linked from the disambiguation page and listed for deletion) and Tom Kratman. Word is it's for some combination of Sad Puppies and political wrongthink.

Well, so far, 2015 has been kicking my butt. I’m ready for it to turn its attention to someone else and let me get back the business of writing. Anyway . . . . Thanks for the patience and support.
