I love the work of his practice, but also relate to their philosophy, which includes the idea (expressed in this talk) that the true inspirations behind architecture usually come not from our education or design magazines, but from things we experienced in childhood, or out in nature.

Olson Kundig Architects has created a studio attached to a residence in Washington, which sits on railroad tracks that allow it to completely detach.
