ㅤ ㅤ “get out,” his voice was calm and cold, void of any emotions. though I saw in his eyes that he wasn’t as indifferent as he wanted to appear. he looked away, pretending to be busy by his new smartphone — the old one he broke yesterday when he flew into another tantrum. ㅤ ㅤ “wh-what?” my voice treacherously trembled. ㅤ ㅤ “I said, get the fuck out. you’re free, so either I’ll rip your heart out, or you go away.” ㅤ ㅤ some time ago it was the most desirable thing that I desperately wanted to hear from him. now it felt as if he had finally taken my life from me, just as he had threatened. ㅤ ㅤ I came up to the armchair in which he was sitting. he looked up at me and watched me falling on my knees in front of him. I knew I looked pathetic. ㅤ ㅤ “please, don’t kick me out,” I felt like I was about to cry, ready to beg him. I was nothing but his little pet, an alive blood bag, yet I didn’t know anymore how to live without him. I grabbed his hand. ㅤ ㅤ “I cannot leave. don’t make me leave. what am I supposed to do out there?” ㅤ ㅤ he dropped his phone, gently put his free hand to my cheek. I wanted to kiss him so much. his hand slid lower to my neck, then suddenly found my throat and squeezed. we were face to face. it was hard to breathe, and I was choking, but wasn’t scared. ㅤ ㅤ “go ahead, do this,” I wheezed out and put both hands on his, squeezing my neck. “there is no life for me without you anyway.” ㅤ ㅤ “you’re stupid boy,” he looked at me with open contempt. I hated being as miserable as I was at that moment. he hated that too, and yet let me go. I lowered my head, trying to clear my throat and get my breath, then dropped my head on his lap. he stroked my hair. ㅤ ㅤ “can I stay?” ㅤ ㅤ “yes.” ㅤ ㅤ I sighed with relief. but it was premature. ㅤ ㅤ “you can stay..” he pulled the collar of my shirt to look at the fresh mark from his bite. “..until your wound heals. and after that, I don’t fucking care what you will do.”
