It was 9:50 p.m. and your wine bottle was almost finished, today, the day that was supposed to be yours and Tom's birthday, you were alone and drowning both in wine and memories
You had just woke up to a cloudy Sunday morning and a sleepy Tom hugging you by your waist
You said as you gave him a kiss on his forehead as Tessa rushed in to check on the sudden noises she heard coming from the bedroom
Why? Why did it have to end like that?
As soon as you heard the door slaming you knew something wasn’t right with Tom
You asked while checking on the tomato sauce on the fire. Tom rushed into the kitchen getting a beer in the fridge and opening it

After that, the fight was set and ended with your bags packed and a tearing up Tom calling out your name by the door
It has been 3 months since you guys broke up, and things weren’t good for neither of you, after all you had the same circle of friends and every party or dinner ended with one of you crying in the bathroom
Your bags were packed, your passport on your purse, everything ready, for a sudden trip things were actually pretty organized, a week ago a few friends of yours called you and told you they had won a trip to Orlando and wanted you to go with them, you didn’t hesitate on accepting the invitation, even though Tom was probably going to be there, it would be good to air up a bit, right?
The flight was very tiring, after all, you guys went from London staight to Florida, as soon as you got there you went to the hotel and after a quick nap, none of you wanted to wait any longer, so you went to Disneyland.

As the sun left, giving place to the stars and the beautiful full moon, you guys went to the main castle , as you waited for the show to start, you felt someone poking your shoulder, you turn around and meet Tom’s eyes, his face at a very dangerous distance from yours

He said while pulling you by your hand to a place less crowded
“Listen, I need to say some things, but you have to let me say everything before you comment anything, can you do that for me?”

The time seemed to have stopped, it was like there were only the two of you in that big park so you did the only thing that came across your mind, as the fireworks lit up the sky you pressed your lips against his silently telling him to never leave again.
