The Tomamu Resort also has a farm (this is where they get their milk, from the happiest cows in Japan) and you can hammock nap with the sheep. I would've done it if it weren't slightly freezing outside.
We also went canoeing and it was nice to just get back to nature~
Tomamu
First time in Hokkaido this time around! We went to the Tomamu Mountain Resort, which has an interesting cloud weather phenomenon that happens during this season. Basically the clouds settle and blanket the valley. At peak season, it's pretty intense and we got to see basically a 50% version (seeing it from the hotel window is also pretty cool). Had to get up at 4am to catch the 5am gondola up, and I had 6am soft serve because it's made to look like a cloud.

This Petpet loves to sit around and squawk at passerbys. If you want to keep it happy make sure you have lots of fish on hand.
Gikerot
Living in the shelter of plants, the Gikerot likes sunning itself in the afternoon sun. It can easily jump and glide for short distances.
