The Week In Veg, Flowers and Creatively Re-Used Specimen Cups. ;)
Should clarify that I was given the disposable, and, one sincerely hopes, NEW specimen cup with a drink of water after I had bloodwork done yesterday. (Trying to get my illness/symptoms diagnosed, see previous post). They had to run three full pages’ worth of tests, so I really do hope they’ll get me some answers. I’m usually terrible with needles and blood tests but the lab tech was such a pro that I managed.
Not as reassured by the fact both my doctor AND the lab tech were eager to commiserate about sky-high health insurance deductibles and what they themselves have had to deal with in trying to get their carriers to pay for anything. ;(
But... we finally had some rain and my gardens are thriving. A bit too much. Anyone want some extra tomatoes? Hate to have to make sauce of them (already made more salsa) but I can’t keep up. But soon I'll harvest my very first cauliflower and acorn squash.
Now where have I seen daisies like that before?.... ;)
