good morning and hello ☀️ in honor of the two year anniversary of the line that altered my brain chemistry, i have set up a queue of some of the greatest hits from the 🍅 ian tag.

Y'all let's talk fertilizer, the store bought stuff is just fine, but the absolute best thing is a mix of compost (I just use vegetable scraps!) charcoal/ashes and chicken poop (you can only use a little bit of it though). So if you really wanna get a good garden going you should use at least the first two!

hm. our neighbors have chickens, maybe i could ask them for a little of their droppings for that…

i still can't believe you did this 🍅😭❤️ i want it as a poster. i'm gonna print it out, frame it, and see how long it takes H to notice it just hanging somewhere in the apartment 😌 also i am picturing ian making it into a t shirt and mickey just like 😐 every time he puts it on

I'm jealous of those of you who can keep plants alive, I got a brown thumb I inherited from my mom and have only managed to keep two potted plants through the miracle of luck and my pet rabbit making fertilizer for me.

i’m shocked I’m able to grow things tbh! because i used to kill even succulents. but then a few summers ago i was like “i wanna grow jalapenos” and then i did it and i was legit shocked

if you’re looking for an easy plant to grow, i highly recommend morning glories for outside, or pothos for indoors! I’ve been meaning to get a pothos start tbh, i got a table in the den just perfect for it.

my cherry tomatoes are at my aunts place cuz she has more room i cannot wait to consume them

on the real tho cherry tomatoes are great, esp right off the vine! i might grow them next year. this year i think i’m growing heirloom? i can’t remember. i just know it’s not roma, which i can’t stand because it’s all i ever had growin up

Tomatoes need a lot of sun when they're growing, but once they start producing fruit they can get sunburned very easily so you should take that into consideration when planting them. And as far as where to plant them, the ground is always preferable for plants but planters will work if you can't plant them in the ground, you'll just have to water them more often. This has been my TED talk!

i grow my plants in planters because the ground I have available to me is mostly clay dirt, well packed, which i honestly don’t wanna deal with for my plants. the upside is that i’ll be able to move my plants to optimal sunlight situations when that time comes!

I’m also growing morning glories, which are also thirsty bitches, so i gotta water like every day lmao. i’m excited for those to get growing! i bet they’ll be climbing their cage by the end of the month.
