The Ugly Truth. 6 billion pounds of fresh produce goes unused every year. This is a sad and troubling fact with so many people living homeless on the streets not knowing where their next meal is coming from not to mention those people in other countries slowly starving to death right now from lack of proper nutrition why have we not thought to share the abundance of which we have instead of throwing away gifts as if it where nothing more than garbage before now and how long has this madness been going on.
