STAR WARS (1977) Original British Quad 30 x 40 Inches Folded as-issued We also offer linen-backing with folds flatten on our website. —————— This is the super rare pre-oscars version of the sought after UK quad with artwork by #TomChantrell. George Lucas commissioned leading UK artist Chantrell to create this design, which also ran as the US style 'C' design. This particular poster was printed for the first release of the film in before it won any #Oscars. Subsequent printings carried the news of the Oscars success so this is the one that the collectors want. Chantrell was employed to enhance the star appeal and the merchandising opportunities for #Fox and #GeorgeLucas.
