So I might have just went back and read the Spider-Man imagine I wrote a couple years ago after talking to my friend about missing writing (I’ve only ever put out two things on here but I’ve wrote a lot of other things and she doesn’t know about the imagines 😂) and obviously it’s not god tier writing but it’s pretty good and I kinda want to do more again?? So I guess I’m just wondering if anyone or any of my mutuals has any thoughts because I’m at a point where I could do it all the time if I wanted to. Obviously it wouldn’t just be Spider-Man or Tom holland but I’m just wondering peoples thoughts
I’m the same on Lana! My friend loves her so I’m ok with listening to it sometimes but it’s just not my thing. The only thing that I do kinda like is her singing “once upon a dream” in maleficent
yesss finally someone else who agrees!!! i dont think i rmr that “once upon a dream” song (bc its been years since i watched maleficent lol) but ill def check it out again!
The only subject we’ve done that I geniuenley loved was maths
Clinicals suck cause they’re an average of 9 hours a day give or take a few
I’m hardly ever on here anymore cause I’m so busy
I miss my friends
My anxiety is worse
My mood swings are worse
I slipped into a week long depressive episode and all I wanted to do was quit school
My rooms a wreck
My life’s a wreck
Oh and I have to work all the fucking time cause I need money
For gas
And my car payment
And supplies
And there’s also the fact that even when I graduate I still have to take boards and pass those and there’s always a chance that I won’t and that would totally suck because it’d be a straight year of stress and studying and bullshit teachers for nothing because you can’t pass one fucking test at the end of it all and it’s just a waste
And that’s only if I graduate
Oh and I totally love how some of my friends are just absolute shit now
And they want to complain TO ME about how they need money or they’re so tired??
FRIENDS THAT I AM IN SCHOOL WITH
FRIENDS THAT NEVER WORK ANYMORE
FRIENDS THAT GOT A NEW CAR AND PHONE IN THE SAME WEEK TWO MONTHS INTO SCHOOL
Summary: After Ned accidentally spills Peters secret to you, you do your best to avoid the situation.
Part 2 to ‘Spider-Man?’
Authors Note: Since I received such positive feedback on the first part, here’s the second! I’m gonna warn you this ones cheesy too! I’m sorry for any errors I had to edit it multiple times cause it keep messing up? So I apologize.
Ever since the Spider-Man incident you had been avoiding Ned and Peter like the plague, you even put together your group project all on your own. They were blowing up your phone with texts and calls (mainly from Peter). You couldn’t help but scoff at the irony considering the roles were reversed not that long ago. You knew you should hear Pete out but you didn’t want to. He had kept something so big from you for so long. It truly hurt. What bothered you the most was you couldn’t seem to grasp why he wouldn’t tell you? Did he not trust you enough? Did he think you’d spill his secret? You weren’t really sure, but you were certain you could see him and Ned headed your direction as you and the rest of the decathlon team were getting ready to board the bus. As hard as you had tried to convince yourself you’d be able to keep Peter off your mind on this trip you knew your efforts would fail as you heard him ask about being back on the team. Especially when he sat next to you after you got one the bus giving you no means of escape. Great.
“Listen (Y/N) I know none of this has been fair to you, but would you at least give me a chance to explain?” Peter looked at you with pleading eyes and when you went to turn and look at the window you caught yourself staring at his reflection. Stupid tint. You let out a deep sigh looking back at Peter, “Fine, but not right now. This isn’t exactly the place and Liz planned on practicing on the ride up.” Peter smiles and starts to thank you but is silenced when Liz starts talking and handing out bells.
The ride to Washington was pretty uneventful. You were all hardcore quizzed the whole way, Peter doing not so surprisingly good despite being absent from the team for a decent amount of time. Which had you wondering why he decided to rejoin. Was it so he could talk to you? The thought made your chest feel light but you tried to ignore it. You were supposed to be upset with him. As you all got off the bus Peter caught up with you and Michelle and told you to meet him at his and Ned’s room once you had everything settled and he’d explain everything. Michelle looked at you with her eyebrow raised, “Did you and nerdboy get into a fight or something?” You sighed for what felt like the millionth time. “Something like that I guess. His uh internship has caused a sort of bump in things.” You try your best to give your friend and excuse that wasn’t too far from a lie but not the truth eithe. MJ has been a good friend to you, neither of you being big on the other girls at school. Not that you disliked them, they just didn’t have much in common with the two of you. MJ just nods at you sensing that you’d rather not talk about it and changes the subject, the two of you getting your key and heading to the room.
After claiming beds and getting your things settled for your short stay you give your friend a quick goodbye and head over to the boys room which Peter sent you the number for. You get to their room and start to knock but hesitate pausing for a moment to mentally prepare yourself. You know you need to be patient and try to understand keep reminding yourself that. You knock on the door and Peter quickly opens it and pulls you inside immediately shutting in and the first thing you see is Ned with a suit.. hooked up to his laptop? “Is-Is that the suit?” You ask slowly walking over to it and running your fingers over the outside. Peter grins proudly, “Yeah it’s pretty cool, huh?” “Well it’d be cooler if this wasn’t the first time I’ve seen it,” you look over at him with an eyebrow raised waiting for your explanation.
Peter rubs the back of his neck, “Yeah about that, look I’m really sorry (Y/N) you weren’t supposed to find out like this.” You scoff, “Well how was I supposed to find out Peter? When were you gonna tell me? Were you ever gonna tell me? Do you not trust me?” By this point you’ve made your way across the room to him without even realizing it, close enough to feel the nervous breath he lets out. “Look it’s not like that, it was never like that. I do trust you, I really do, it’s just everyone else that I don’t trust.” “What do you mean, Pete?” He sighs and grabs your hands, something that the both of you had missed within his absence. “Listen, there’s a lot of bad people out there ok? I might not be dealing with the worst all the time but I’m dealing with some pretty bad ones right now. I don’t-“ he falters a little bit, “they were at the school the other day. I saw them, they were looking for something that I have. If they were to ever find out who I was, who you are, I don’t know what I’d do if they were to hurt you. So I thought if I just kept you in the dark you’d be safer.” One of his hands had gravitated towards your cheek and you lean into his touch, missing it quite a bit and frown. “Well what about you Pete? This sounds like some serious stuff for a 15 year old to be dealing with. And besides if you’re worried for me then it’s only fair that I get to worry about you. I mean what if something were to happen to you and I didn’t know about any of this. Oh god Pete what if you get really hurt I wouldn’t-“ you’re interrupted by your own sniffle and have only now noticed that you started tearing up halfway through and Peter has pulled you into a hug rubbing your back with his hand. Head buried into the crook of your neck you hear a muffled. “Nothing bad is gonna happen to either of us. I’ll make sure of it.”
Since I got such a good reaction to ‘Spider-Man?’ I will be posting a second part to it! It should be up sometime this weekend since I already had an idea of where I wanted to take it.
Summary: (Y/N) starts to get tired of Peter’s constant absence.
Authors note: I haven’t written anything in a LONG time and I’ve never published it but I figured why not. I’m open to making a second part if it’s wanted and any other ideas. Criticism is accepted.
Warnings: A tiny bit of angst. It’s pretty short.
Tags under the cut.
You, Peter, and Ned were having your usual Friday movie night. Ned having fell asleep halfway through the third movie left only you and Peter sitting on the bottom bunk of his bed. You’re watching the movie in a comfortable silence until you hear Peter say something almost quiet enough for you to miss.
“I think I love you.”
You look over at your friend from your spot next to him with wide eyes. Your breath getting caught in your throat makes it incredibly difficult to get your one word response out. You feel like one giant bundle of nerves when you finally get out a stuttered “what”.
Peter looks at you, suddenly losing the little bit of confidence he had worked up and realizes he didn’t think through this very far. “I-I um, w-well you see-“ “Pete?” He mentally curses himself and almost wishes he could take it back because good god did he screw up this time, and you’d never be able to look each other in the eye cause you don’t feel the same way. That is until he actually looks at you and he swears he sees hope in your eyes and he just can’t help but smile until you pull him back to reality with your next question. “Pete d-did you just say you love me?” He let’s put a little laugh and rubs the back of his neck, “Yeah, yeah I think I might have said something along those lines,” he says with a hopeful look on his face.
You break out into a huge grin. “Well there might be a rather large possibility that I love you too you big dork.” Peter can hardly contain his excitement as he pulls you into him and lays back kissing your forehead and grinning like a madman and mumbles,
“I could get used to saying that forever.”
“Hey this is Peter I can’t answ-“
You sigh as you sit looking out of your bedroom window at the city that lays before you. You smile with an almost bitter-sweet sadness as you think back on the memory of when you and Peter confessed your feelings to each other. That was six months ago now and things could be better than they are. Ever since Peter got his internship with Stark Industries you didn’t get to see much of him which you understood. He had work to do, work that he loved and strived hard to be the best at, but at what cost? He didn’t have much of a life outside of it. He was even starting to slack off in school which was strange.
Plans with each other kept falling through more often than not. As a substitute you and Ned started hanging out without Peter a lot more than before. That was until Ned started ditching you too. So after trying to call the both of them three times you decided to give in and just go out to grab a bite to eat and pick up a few things for the project the three of you had due in less than a week on top of the academic decathlon soon. The project you had yet to start on.
While you were out you had bumped into Michelle which gave you a chance to kill some time which is what put you at getting home so late. You and Peter live in the same apartment building so it’s just become a habit to glance up at his window as you walk up to the building. It’s fairly easy to spot considering he keeps his lights on majority of the time and he has a little window chime hanging on the outside that you had given him. So when you see what looks like his and Ned’s shadows in his room you get slightly confused. You decide to just shrug it off and try to call them again and when they don’t answer you text Peter about working on the project and start to become annoyed when you get a reply about being out late at his internship. So you then decide to take things into your own hands and just show up, May would let you in anyways.
After you make it up to their apartment and May greets you with her usual hug and says something about having to run to get something you head over to Peter’s room. You can hear Ned talking to him about something but can’t really make out what it is. Trying not to let your agitation take control you open the door holding all of the supplies and immediately drop them and your jaw goes slack. Right in front of you Peter is hanging upside down while Ned is holding some weird tracking system? And wearing a Spider-Man mask? Peter quickly jumps down, “Listen (Y/N) it’s not what it looks like.” You scoff, “Well I hope not. It looks like you and Ned have some weird crush on Spider-Man and have figured out a way to stalk him which not only be weird but a really dumb thing to ditch me for so what the hell is going on?”
“Well it would be really dumb to stalk him considering Peter is Spider-“ Ned’s interrupted by Peters hand over his mouth. “DUDE!” and Ned lets out a muffled “oops”.
You stand there frozen in shock. Ned just said that your boyfriend is Spider-Man. Peter. THE Spider-Man. It makes some sense but you can’t wrap your head around why he would keep it from you. So you take a note from their book and mumble some random excuse and bolted, leaving Peter to try and figure out how to explain this to you and get you to listen to him.
