Very long, blood/medical warning

Aventurine and ratio on a mission tg when they got suprise ambushed. Aventurine is usually quick with shielding them, but this time they were caught so off guard that he didn't get it in time, before Ratio got shot.

Ratio felt it but the adrenaline stopped him from realizing fully. They rushed back to their ship and took off. Only then realizing he got shot in his right shoulder, he pulled his hand back, seeing all of the blood, Aventurine looked over and realized too.

They rushed to the nearest medical center, Ratio trying to keep pressure on the wound but also becoming faint. He told aventurine to keep pressure when he passes out, which he did very soon after. Aventurine was panicking, he was blabbering out nothing important, watching Ratio go unconscious.

When they finally got to the medical center, Ratio was wheeled off to immediate surgery. Leaving Aventurine covered in ratios blood, his ears were ringing, his mind fuzzy, he was hyperventilating. Another medical assistant came to assess him, wanting to see if any of the blood was his. It wasn't, Aventurine was unscathed. Just like last time. The assistant tried to guide him to a quiet area so he can breathe and calm down, but as soon as she touched him, he flinched away hard, eyes snapping towards her. She calmly asked him to follow her, leading him into a quiet room, she asked him to discard his clothes, and gave him some simple shirt and pants while they got rid of the bloody ones. She cleaned his hands and skin with an alcohol pad. Talking very calmly to him, explaining what she was doing and everything.

He zoned out, mind going back to the massacre. Back to him watching everyone die and him not being able to do anything about it. He began hyperventilating again, and tried to curl in on himself as a way to protect and self sooth. The assistant brought a weighted blanket, some water, and a snack for him, then left him in the small room, giving him space. She would Come back later to ask if he needed anything, all aventurine wanted to know was about ratio.

She said she would have the doctors come talk as soon as they can. Hours that seemed like days passed, and finally, a doctor came in. He sat down in front of Aventurine, sighed, and began to explain the procedure. He explained how there was alot of blood, and they had to carefully remove the bullet, but they got it out, and he was now in recovery. Aventurine went in to see him, though he was still asleep, and heavily medicated.

Aventurine ended up crawling in the bed next to him, lying down next to ratios head, he watched him. Began brushing his hair with his fingers. He fell asleep there, all cramped on the edge to give ratio room, but he needed to be close. Ratio woke up the next day, eyes bearly focused, but he felt a presence next to him. He moved his head a lil, seeing Aventurine sleep next to him. He quietly called to him, aven waking up almost immediately, he asked how he was doing, if he was okay.

Soon the doctors came in, and Aventurine had to move, but as soon as they left, he got right back up there. Ratio shifted to put his head closer, seeing as he couldn't move his arm without pain, this would be the closest he could get.

They cuddled like that for hours, when he woke up again, mind not fuzzy, they talked, nothing important was said, they just existed together.

After he was discharged, Aventurine still stares at the scar. Feeling guilty for not shielding him immediately. Ratio reassures him it is alright. But now on missions, he always has his Shields up. Always.

Hypothetically,

I have scripted, storyboarded and basically sketched out a long term comic idea.

And am actually almost finished with page 1. Inking coloring background all that jazz. 99% done.

But I'm scared to actually let anyone see it.

Cause like I put legitimate thought and effort to this. And that's scary.

I know we say cringe is dead. But is it actually truly dead because I'm stressing.

It started as kinda wanting to find something like it but then when I couldn't find it I thought of the, "create what you want to see." Thingy people keep quoting.

And how would I even post it on here? Would I post each page as I make it or would I wait till I finish ten to max out the picture limits they have on posts?
