this photography has particularly inspired my creativity in terms of this project concept and the way to explore it through imagery. the first photograph on the top left is interesting as i feel i could use distance between the camera and the subject to portray a potential disconnect from themselves or their environment, depending entirely on the opinion of the individual, whom i would speak to about the subject before shooting. the second top right image, has an interesting contrast between the built up concrete world we live in, framed by the delicacy of the ever-depleting nature that we are drastically losing touch with. the bottom left image shows the shadows of nature upon the subject, which doesn’t represent nature in it’s entirety due to not being physically represented in the image, an interesting effect to play around with depending on amount of light and availability of shadows. the final image plays with the subject, it’s as though you see the innocence and connection with self represented through the eyes and the gaze connecting with the camera
i aim to play around with both portraiture but creating a juxtaposition with other images alongside, street photography images that hold the concept within, as well as photographs of nature in a playful way
