"The Arrest of Arsène Lupin" is the next project of PMRP Presents. Adapted by Michael Lin, the play is a new radio adaptation of the first-ever-published Maurice Leblanc short story featuring Arsène Lupin, gentleman-burglar. The French steamship La Provence has received a telegram reporting that the notorious Arsène Lupin is on board! Each passenger is eyeing their neighbor, wondering if they might be Lupin in disguise. Of them all, perhaps only Miss Nelly Underdown, keen-minded heiress, has a chance of ferreting him out -- but what will happen as the clash of wits escalates? Thievery, misdirection, and a hint of romance are all in the mix -- come be a part of this follow-up to Spring 2015's "The Mysterious Traveler"!
Auditions will be held at Unity Church in Somerville on Saturday August 6th with slots at 2PM, 3PM, and 4PM, and Monday August 8th at 7PM, 8PM, and 9PM. Please note the role of Bernard d’Andrézy/Arsène Lupin is pre-cast. “The Arrest of Arsène Lupin” will be recorded in the studio in early October, and released online and on CD in late 2016/early 2017.
In "Tomes of Terror: Campfire Tales!" this year's annual Halloween show, we bring you a collection of chilling urban legends and campfire stories. Our cast will tell eight different tales around the fire, each member performing multiple roles. Sides will be posted closer to the auditions, which will be held at Responsible Grace Church in Somerville on Monday August 22nd and Tuesday August 23rd, with slots at 7PM, 8PM, and 9PM each day. Callbacks will be held if needed on Thursday August 25th. Performances for the Halloween show will be October 21st, October 22nd, and October 27th-29th at 8PM, and October 22nd at 2PM at Responsible Grace Church.
