How exactly did Markus get his sheepy legs anyway? I know he was cursed but I need details.
Sorry for being late, I was in class and couldn’t open his reference to peek at the answer :P
I know exactly how, but I have completely forgotten why. The reason’s become vague because I’ve forgotten the fine details of his backstory for some unknown reason. I gave him goat legs after thinking about the design because I thought they looked cool, and came up with an explanation for it later on.
The how isn’t too hard to answer. When a demon character is part animal or part something they’re not supposed to be, it’s usually because they crossed a god or a very powerful mage with the capability to change a person in such a way that they have the legs of a strange animal. Or they’re a mage or god that can do such things to themselves. For example, Proskenion's came to be when a dead body was joined with mule legs by a surgeon, and another person's soul was placed into the body that was then brought back to life again.
Being given animal features would usually mean that they’d be seen as monstrosities and cast out of society, which is the desired effect when the god decides to use animal parts. There are also other penalties, more painful and cruel ones like the inability to die combined with the inability to use the lungs, or being turned into undying undead creatures that fall apart (Man, my own fears are really showing here aren’t they?), so this one is mainly a social punishment.
So I am currently kind of stuck. I know that there’s a process that happened, and according to my old notes, it sort of goes like this:

I have completely forgotten what step 2 was, BUT after looking through different polls, journals, and deviations, I found this little conversation hidden away, which hints that he was wrongfully convicted for something and that his punishment was based on his social life. I’m gonna assume that Tomius was being a prissy little bitch again, probably after a dispute with God, and decided it was time to neglect his duties as the protector half god of demonkind and instead go make others feel bad, confusing the person who deserved the penalty with Markus. This has happened before, and he usually regrets it afterwards, but this one he didn’t notice and therefor never fixed. He’s a cool protector and all, but sometimes he can be a real childish dick.
So long story short, I know how but I don’t know why.
