seriously??? I didn't know that was a thing wow

i can #confirm that boys in my hometown literally walk around with one hand down their trousers. when i ask them why they say it’s warm/they’re cold but also they refuse to get a jumper or wear mittens? ... okay i googled and as far as i can tell it might be a working class lad culture thing? also most boys dont even realize they’re doing it????

My school is doing that too and all my friends were like "are you participating?" And they were so shocked when I said no. The whole POINT is to stand up and refuse to be silent. It's just gross.

I 100% agree; it doesn’t make any sense, it doesn’t do any good and it’s honestly so hurtful to the kids who are silenced every day.
