5 Times the Love

Send “5 Times the Love” and I will write a drabble about the five times my muse fell in love with your muse

The first time Sage knew he loves Oliver was during their first sleepover. The two kids had a lot of fun, mostly because they were together, and whenever Sage was with Oliver he was always the happiest he’s ever been. But now the blond was tired, they were both tired so his mother put him and his friend to bed and as he wrapped his arms around the other’s and watched as Oliver fell asleep he knew he loves the curly haired boy more than anything and that he’ll never let him go. The second time Sage knew he loves Oliver was during Sage’s first panic attack. He was meant to go on stage in a few minutes, he was competing in his school’s talent show for the first time and he was scared, he was scared he was going to mess up, he was scared everyone will laugh at him once he started playing his guitar and suddenly he felt like he couldn’t breath, he felt like he was drowning even though he was on land. He felt two hands holding his head up but as he looked forward he didn’t see anything. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath as he felt one of the hands slide down to his chest, a voice telling him to try and breath along with the person in front of him and so he did. As he opened his eyes he met Oliver’s worried eyes and he knew no one else would ever be as caring for him as Oliver was and as he thanked his best friend and hugged him he knew this was why he loved him and that was why he dedicated a song to the curly haired boy. The third time Sage knew he loves Oliver was during Sage’s first breakup, the first his heart broke. After his boyfriend broke up with him Sage didn’t know where to go, he didn’t want to go home, he didn’t want his mother to see his tearful eyes so he went to the only person he knew will always welcome him. He knocked on Oliver’s door and hugged himself as he waited for the door to open, it felt like he has been waiting for hours and the minute the door was opened, Sage looked up and Oliver’s arms were immediately wrapped around him. He knew that Oliver will always be there for him and he couldn’t have been more thankful. The fourth time Sage knew he loves Oliver was during Oliver’s first date. He was happy for Oliver, he hoped his best friend will finally have someone he loves, truly loves. But from some reason he’s worried, probably because he doesn’t want Oliver to ever get hurt by anyone like Sage has been. He just wants his best friend happy because he loves him and he seemed happy so he had no clue why did his heart hurt, he didn’t know why he was upset about the fact his Oliver will be happy, maybe because Oli was his, but he tried to ignore that part. The fifth time Sage knew he loves Oliver was during a school day. Sage didn’t see Oliver all day today and so he decided yo go look for him. He finally found him in the library but not like he expected, he did not expect to see Oliver giggling into someone else’s lips and he sure as hell didn’t think his own smile will fall once he noticed how happy his friend was. It was in that moment he realized why he was always so worried of Oliver, why he always cared about him more than anyone else. It was because he loved his best friend, it was because Oli was his.
