maybe instead of telling people to stop being offended by stereotypes, you could stop playing into them. it's a lot easier to alter 1 person's behavior out of respect for the very same group of people you're proclaiming to celebrate than it is to tell the rest of the world to not get "butthurt" about you being a jerk.
That awkward moment when you're not even the one writing the submissions. So you'd have to change a lot of people, good luck with that. All I do is scan the submissions to make sure they aren't sexist, racist, homo/trans/biphobic, and that there's no big grammar/spelling errors. If they "play into stereotypes" which I have seen no proof of whatsoever, I honestly don't see what the big deal is. It's not like they're saying "EVERY BISEXUAL PERSON DOES THIS"...
