something positive- playlists. i have 3 tc-inspired playlists. one inspired by the guy himself (or his life), one inspired by tom & chris, and one inspired by tom & nicole. i will upload all 3 here now. with notes about them in case anyone sees this.
i've been working on my main tc playlist for ages. it's still a WIP i think. but i'm honestly tired of looking at it, it's been months, idek if it's comprehensible anymore. it's my fault that i've been working on it for so long, i approached it like i was writing a book (tried to make it linear and give it a three act structure. ended up spending a lot of time moving songs around to make it fit together better. i don't think i succeeded). also recently i incorporated some ts songs, which was hard to do because they didn't really fit with what i already had, i ended up having to not include some of my favorites, and i don't know if it works.
(there ^ it is). also in case anyone sees this i wanna clarify that there are 3 songs in first person perspective that are not supposed to represent tom, but people around him: son of god (represents corruption which there is a lot of in hollywood, and the guy comparing himself to jesus also reminds me of cults, many leaders present themselves as god or the second coming of christ, or prophets or messiahs), spell on you (people wanting to control him), dont leave me now (similar to spell). oh and also climbing up the walls, represents similar things to the previous two
(i mainly wanted to say that in case someone sees this and thinks that i think that tom built his career off the blood of poor people because of the inclusion of son of god)
below is the tom & chris/mcqruise playlist. i started making this one because i got too frustrated with the one above. this one is not structured and it doesn't have an order, and its purpose is just to be wholesome and cheerful. just songs that remind me of the very wholesome supportive duo. it's the only one i'm actually happy with, and the only one that's not a WIP.
below is the tom & nicole/tomnic playlist. it's the newest one and shortest one (still longer than TLOAS lol), still a WIP. it's also short bc only 9 years of marriage, unfortunately. it's my impression that if it weren't for circumstances (a certain horrible bastard who wanted to ruin tom's life), they would've stayed together longer. they really seemed happy together.
(also i don't know if the embed links work properly. i opened each of them and they showed the right playlists, but not with the usual layout of spotify. idk i don't know how technology works. its probably fine)
