Angelo Leo (26-1) has been one of the great success stories of ProBox TV. They prides itself on rebuilding once championship fighters and getting them back into contention. Leo lost his title down at 122lbs to Fulton in 2021 and basically disappeared for a bit. When he came back on ProBox's Wednesday night fight series, he worked his way up to a title shot. Which he won on ESPN.

After defending it in Japan, Leo is back in the US and set to defend in Georgia as he faces off with Ra'eese Aleem (23-1) this Saturday (May 9) to defend his IBF featherweight title.

Jamie McDonnell vs Tomoki Kameda 1

Jamie McDonnell (29-2-1, 13 KOs) came to the U.S. in 2015 and basically all but kicked Tomoki Kameda off of U.S. TV. And while he’s not going to the U.S. to fight, he has the chance to do something to another Japanese challenger in Naoya Inoue (15-0, 13 KOs). The World Boxing Super Series has stated that should Inoue win, he’ll earn a spot in their tournament - which will likely receive some type of TV/streaming deal here in the U.S. Should McDonnell win though, that spot is likely to be offered to him.

Inoue and McDonnell will face off for McDonnell’s WBA bantamweight title this Friday (May 25).

After a big 2015 that saw him come to the US twice and defend his WBA bantamweight belt on national TV, 2016 has been a quiet year for the UK’s Jamie McDonell (28-2-1, 13 KOs). McDonell will defend his title again this Saturday (Nov. 12th) when he faces Liborio Solis (25-4-1).
