Rules: google search your name & your favorite color & the word ‘aesthetic’. take the first four (non collage) photos and voila you have your aesthetic moodboard! then tag your friends to join.
I, too, chose the first 4 pics that I liked mostly because the first selections weren’t representative for an aesthetic.
I am tagging all of my followers. I wanna see your aesthetics, guys.
Ennio Morricone "Chi Mai" Original Soundtrack
Let’s add this to the list of the shitshow that has been 2020. Rest in peace, maestro!
Hi there! First of all, I would just like to thank you for your wonderful thoughts after that dreadful ending. I really needed to read/hear everything that you have written because I was absolutely gutted and felt cheated as like all other viewers. I just have one question; what are your thoughts on ITV and Sanditon's official Instagram photo descriptions when they posts things like "series finale" and "enjoy the ENTIRE series...". Do you think this means that Sanditon is officially done/over?
Hi, nonnie!
You are most welcome. It makes me happy to know my metas have helped you have a more positive outlook on episode 8.
Honestly, I don’t really pay that much attention to what the promotion says. What I do pay attention to is what the promotion does. During the tail end of the show and post-ending, they have in short order released a behind the scenes book and are preparing to release a dramatization novel, they have promotional material hyping up the love triangle of Sidney/Charlotte/Stringer and talking about how Charlotte and Sidney’s love “will endure”.
Does that sound like a series finale to you? Cause it sure doesn’t to me.
In addition to that you have ITV which has essentially built the whole town of Sanditon and legendary Andrew Davies saying he’d “love” to do more Sanditon. Why on earth would ITV invest that much money in a mini-series and why would they tell the creator of P&P 1995 no to making more?
And most importantly, how could Andrew Davies, who has spent his entire career honoring and popularizing Austen’s work, all of a sudden decide to give us a non-Austen ending? Particularly one that required a sudden shift in tone in episode 7?
I’ve seen most of Davies’ work, and liked almost all of it and this is not the type of writer he is. People might not always agree with his interpretations of the source material but it’s always consistent with itself.
I know a lot of people worry that ITV could cancel this for lack of ratings but I’d like to point out that type of business model (of leaving shows unfinished) isn’t really applied to British TV. It is very much an American thing (I’m looking at you, NBC).
Is there a chance I’m wrong and we won’t get a season 2? There’s a chance of anything in life, nonnie and I’m afraid I have no guarantees for you. However, I’m honestly not too worried about it. In the worst case scenario where we don’t get a season 2, they are going to make a Christmas special for next year the same way they did for Cranford. That’s basically a feature length film which gives them plenty of time to tie up this story.
So hang in there and don’t worry!
I was hoping for some form of water (as I always do) but I have to say that description ... hope I live up to that, OP. Perhaps I will ... if quarantine ever ends. lol
It's ok, guys. It's in Atlantis now. If you love something, set it free! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤡🤡🤡🤡
