Love her x
Yesterday I went to see the Chagall exhibition at Philharmonie de paris , it amazed me how prolific and hard working he was and continued this devotion through his life. I naively did not realise how music was really an integral part of him and that Mozart was one of, if not his biggest influence - he created out of the greatness of another as a stimuli for his own individual Greatness. This is Art, seeing it is all part of the same
Go before it’s over! Flo X

Poem for David Bowie
magic gone to heaven can we tell who is unwell The awe-full light hearing the genius with the spells
Love this thanks for sending your poem x flo
so uh i have a few ? (I write a lot))
“I sigh in the Spring ‘till the moon phase is dark, As the trees cast their leaves to the song of the 'lark, We sit and we watch as the ropes are pulled taught, Her diamond resists, yet down it is brought
For the time is of the light, It will come, and it will go, And the seasons they’ll change, And, oh, I loved you so
I want to be where the black rocks lie, Where lungs match ebb and flow of tide, We sit and we watch the ocean fade away, Darkness is sweet, but the time is of day
For the time is of the light, It will hide and it will grow, The seasons, they will change, Oh, no, I loved you so”
also this!!
“She always kept fresh flowers on the windowsill, Lights fairly strung illuminate daffodils, A white rose, Tigerlilly, The sweet forget-me-not, Fresh flowers that she grew in the garden plot
I remember the first time I laid eyes on those chalky pastel blues, In the shadow of the alps and the crystal clear moon, Remember, stalk in hand, cradling as if it were fire, In shadows of the future, Of the altar, The wooden spire.”
Hope you like them!! They’re not so obviously about the beauty of tomorrow but when i read them i feel strong and hopeful for the future, maybe you guys will too!
