been a while since I drew my favorite guy who never smiles
I haven't drawn this guy in ages wow (sorry for the quality lol I was at work so this was drawn in autodesk sketchbook mobile with my finger)
A lot of new people have followed me since the last time I talked about him – this is the protagonist of my low fantasy WIP, Bitter Days, and probably my oldest oc. His original name is Tomrin but that's now an alias in-story; his real name is Ithelrel. Features of note: wears an evil eye despite being a self-professed skeptic, has a silver streak from childhood illness, never smiles.
he's a backwoods hermit. he reads theology and political theory. he hates everyone. his greatest fear is being alone. he has a soft spot for animals and kids. he gets 3 hours of sleep a night. his dearest belonging is a birthday gift from his uncle. he has amazing hair. I didn't say his name, and I also never talk about him, so I bet you weren't thinking of him.
some uninspired busts of Tomrin to fight off art block
I haven’t drawn Tomrin in ages so here’s a couple of pencil sketches I cleaned up and colored in photoshop, plus a pseudo-paint practice. he’s had that silver streak since he was like 11 lol (chronic childhood illness will do it)
here’s lookin’ at you, kid.
your reluctant protagonist looks GNC af
every time I draw Tomrin he becomes more angular and exhausted
