Kind gentleman, this is of utmost importance. What's your favorite Pokémon?

Hmmm, I, uh, don't really think about Pokemon that often and haven't played one since Silver in 2000. But I was at ground zero for Red and Blue, so if any Pokemon was to be a favorite, it would probably be from Gen 1. Both my Red and Blue carts' batteries died long, long ago and both my fully completed 151 Pokedexes with them. But I do remember when I discovered they were gone, the Pokemon I was most disappointed to have lost was not my Mews--which had been "illegally" acquired from middle schoolers who used Game Genies to hack it into their games--but rather my max level Raichu, who had a decent record of beating up those same middle schoolers' Pokemon in link cable battles. So there, I'd have to go with Raichu, then. RIP.

I even still have one of these old Tomy figures of Raichu.
