House is like human, as we age, things are broken, old, tear, etc. It's important you have a maintenance plan just like health plan. This roof has been battered by hurricanes, tornadoes, searing heat, rain and storms for 17 years. It was time to renew it. And the #tongancarpenter got to work. Not easy when doing it by yourself. With the noon heat, afternoon rain and evening mosquitoes, I soldering on as I know I am going to enjoy it when it is done. The #carpentry work that I second guess myself. Well, I finally got it done on my own. So proud. My family are builders: fishing & whale boats, churches and furnitures. As I finished putting my new roof, it started to rain. Perfect timing to check for leaks. All good & I thought I would celebrate it with jumping from the new roof. Well, I tried.
