The #tongan #tongannavy PPB #patrolboats at anchor to face the storm wind tonight. Much safer out at the lagoon than alongside the wharf. Seeing those 2 PPBs reminds me of many times that the PPB Crew had to leave their families & safety ashore, but to save the multimillion $ boats. It's what differentiate them from anyone else. The obedience. The sacrifice. The duty. The comradeship. The willpower. The mental strength. The Navy Boys are proud to just do that. Mu'omu'a 'a e fatongia 'I ha toe faka'uhinga. I remembered the many times, that we have had to sail the PPB around #cyclones to escape to Vava'u Is. There were times, we had to head downwind towards Fiji. There were times, that the Cyclone came right on top of us anchoring inside the Lagoon. Being in the Navy is not for weak mind & body. U have to have brain, strong guts & mental will to survive. When waves & wind pounding, smashing, lifting, pulling & pushing the PPB for hrs or days, only the fittest & strongest survived. And they are happy & ready to do it all over again until the Cyclone Season is over. #proudtobenavy #instaboat #navyboats #roughseas #badweather #traveltagram #travelpic (at Nuku`alofa) https://www.instagram.com/p/BtmpGvXnVKu/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=130x9w9yrq7r6
