okay, well depending on your hair colour, it can be a really long process, especially if you don’t want to damage your hair (well okay either way you’re going to damage your hair)

anyway, if you have the money to, i would definitely suggest going to a salon to get it done, because it will work better, and be done faster.

now if you don’t want to then just go to wal-mart or boots or your local drug store, depending on where you’re from, idk. and buy bleach there, and get your mum or friend or someone you trust i guess, to bleach your hair, and just keep bleaching it until it’s white.

now, because i don’t have a lot of money, i had to wait a lot in between bleaching, (which was kind of good, because my hair wasn’t as dead as it could have been) but i started bleaching my hair in may or june, and i bleached it about 8 times (i think) and then it was finally white. (but then again i had really really dark hair, so that was probably why.

and then you can use a purple toning shampoo to get the yellow tones out, (but it won’t work until your hair is practically white, people think that if they bleach it once and it’s like a yellowy blond, and they use the toning shampoo it will turn white, but really their hair will just be a yellowy-purple colour)

For the people blowing up my tumblr asking about my hair...

I use both nexxus, and shimmering lights silver&blonde toning shampoos. Use it once every 2-3 days. Usually 6ish minutes, but today I did about 22. To avoid the purple hue I wash first with a crap suave shampoo, then a few washes with some good dove moisture shampoo and conditioner. If its still purple, I just slap on some deep conditioner for a little bit and it falls out. It also far more purple when wet. And the purple itself will fall out over the day. Hope this helped.
