"Mr. Stark, I was totally fine!" Peter insisted, as the drone carried him through what appeared to be a door designed for this very purpose. Mr. Stark was already sitting there, waiting for his arrival, probably had been for the last fifteen minutes. Because exactly fifteen minutes ago, an alarm had gone off in Peter's suit, something zipped through the air and attached to his back, then lifted him up and carried him.... here. "This is -- I mean, don't get me wrong, I am beyond thankful for everything you've done, but this? This is a little overboard, don't you think?" He tried to sound indignant, but his voice cracked and the effect was pretty much ruined.
shoutout to the Tonies for making me feel better about being a voluptuous, full figured man myself

The Avenger's Tower was miles more futuristic than anything that had been at the World's Fair. So much of it was polished and gleaming, it gave Steve a headache. But down in the workshop, things were a little rougher around the edges and it was strangely comforting. There was still plenty that made Steve's head spin, but at least there was a healthy layer of oil on some of it.
"Tony," he said, nodding as he walked inside. Truthfully, he had come down here to avoid Agent Carter, and the situations brewing upstairs. Clint, Loki, Wanda, all unraveling. At least Nat was back from her mission, and Thor had landed in the realm. But everything was piling up, and sooner or later it would be down to Tony and Steve to make some calls. They had become the de facto leaders of the team, despite their initial disagreements. And their lasting differences. Tony could be... exhausting. But not necessarily in a bad way. He could also be an excellent distraction. "What are you working on today?" he asked, walking over to take a look. He was working on 'loosening up.'
i love reading a post about the tony awards but i don’t know it’s about the tony awards i just assume it’s about the tonys from chnt
