‼️‼️‼️IMPORTANT‼️‼️‼️ Hey CHnT fans. Serious talk. I don’t know who else to tell about this, but I’m hoping since this is close to home for y’all you guys can help me spread the word. I am a trans non-binary minor in Ohio. and my brother is a trans youth as well. I’m not super into politics, but last year, a bill in Ohio was passed where teachers are either not allowed to (or don’t have to, not sure) use any pronouns or names that do not align with what their birth certificate says. as well as teachers being told to call home if a child confides in them that they are part of the lgbtq+ community. This can easily result in a kid being kicked out, abused, or even in some cases killed by their family. Some other problems are what obviously the kid might do to themself. these bills create more unsafe spaces for lgbtq+ youth than there already was. It will likely discourage kids, especially closeted ones, from telling an adult about bullying because a teacher can easily call home and tell their parents.

I’m not sure what to do about it, and I’m not sure what I can do about it, except spread the word so more people know how horrible our current political leaders are. And if your state has the same law, share about it in a repost.
