yes! most notably, during the aou press tour, elizabeth (and renner n ruffalo) said the g slur on television and graham norton told her not to say it because it’s a slur against romani people. she was literally told that it’s a slur:

and then JUST last week, she used the g slur again to describe a romani character, after she was told that it is a slur:

and now on top of all of this, a leaked script for tomorrow’s episode has come out where they have wanda talking about how she’s a “sokovian fortune teller” which is disgusting for a lot of reasons. like on top of elizabeth olsen playing a romani character, “fighting” to wear romani clothing as a HALLOWEEN COSTUME they decided to make that costume a fortune teller which is a racist stereotype like as if the casting and the slurs werent enough they were like okay now we’ll have racist stereotypes in the show as well

edit bc i forgot to mention this: she also said that she can play wanda bc she looks russian when shes in russia. which is ??? bc wanda is not russian. and this was in 2019 lol

Tori finds JT faster than anyone and comes inside the dungeon still in her 5 inch heels (I couldn't help but notice it😀). She breaks JT’s chain and they are about to run when Barnes shoots her with a tranq and puts the necklace around her neck. She did not know that the whole thing was a trap, set up to catch a beast and she find herself captured. Tori's arrival  misles the villain into assuming she was JT's only beast associate.

Ok so you are probably looking for a normal answer but I have to confess you that I am one of those people who looked at Venom and unironically got the fuck response activated and like I would love to tell you why I’m like this but well that’s just what my hormones say I fear

But I have no idea who the fuck looks at the it clown and decides to fuck it either. There’s like nothing to fuck there. It’s a shitty embodiment of evil who preys on kids and weak people. Lowest of the lowest of monster fucking tiers there. Honestly cannot be put in the same league as Venom k Venom would treat you right aside from the tongue thing you have a wonderful wearable boyfriend who’ll help you kill your enemies while Pennywise is just a clown stinking of sewers

It’s so sad that the mishandling of the Maximoffs makes it impossible to enjoy otherwise wholesome moments or interesting plots. Like WV is an interesting idea and has been entertaining in its delivery, but the erasure, stereotypes, and blatant racism from EO is impossible to not think about. I’d love to get excited about the Tommy and Billy in the MCU, and exploring Wanda’s trauma and powers, seeing the family together, etc. but it just feels gross :/ I want the minimoffs but not like this uGH. I do think they’ll go off the comics in terms of them being taken and reborn - but I also think they’re setting wanda up to be a villain at least for a while which just - Wanda’s been through enough of that in the comics pls give her a break

yeah exactly!!! and honestly when the first wv trailer dropped i did think it was interesting (especially bc it looked like it was gonna be based on one of my fave comics) but it’s literally not possible to separate it from the racism, imo. this show would’ve been really good and interesting if they decided to like ... take note of what they did and recasted wanda. they could’ve even gotten a new actor for pietro but they decided to whitewash him again. it’s so disappointing and like. just makes the show completely unbearable, imo :/

i swear writers don't know how to NOT use wanda for plot service. this whole ridiculous show is just the set up for certain ppl getting their powers, bc the writers are too uncreative to figure out more than two ways to trigger/give powers, and kick off the multiverse. and they'll keep mcu wanda around because she's useful and convenient for stuff like this and it just does such a disservice to all the source material

its seriously so annoying jhrbjhasbdja also my friend was like ‘since westview is in new jersey what if they use that to give kamala powers too’ and i seriously got so scared like esp if thats how theyre gna give monica powers ... rjhbahbsdhj and those theories that are like ‘this barrier thing is going to create mutants’ like how unimaginative, boring n insulting to the source material

Bad guy Barnes decides to avail himself of beast Tori  blood. Like, most of it, i.e.he drains all of Tori’s blood because he wants to create a better “mousetrap” (quoting the other prisoner). Barnes draws blood from her while talking about her father who he apparently knew was a Beast. Barnes leaves her on death's door

JT awakes, his leg chained up and the guy in the cage tells him he’s been there for 5/ 6 years. JT is there to replicate the Beast serum. The evil doctor Barnes expositions everything: JT has been tricked, he hasn’t won the grant, it was all a ploy to get his research and Barnes was the one hiring the heist gangs to steal the gem   In addition, he knows JT “has a beast”…Anyway to motivate JT into doing the work, he threatens to shoot the guy in the cage.
