My personal philosophy for Tuvok shipping
#and I ship that dude with everyone#I personally don't believe that even if the bond between them WAS broken that Tuvok would stop loving T'Pel that man is WIFE GUY 1#he is so wife guy that it breaks my personal suspension of disbelief - but listen...I GOTTA get this guy kissed#so I usually just make it so T'Pel would be fine with it for reasons#BUT I have been negligent...I should explore the potential angst of knowing the person you love (Tuvok) is and will always be more#bonded to/in love with T'Pel...this woman you've never met and possibly will never meet...and maybe you also come to love and appreciate her#too!?#which is literally my arc. I love T'Pel. This character who never appears in the flesh and says like 4 words v_v just bc of how much Tuvok#loves her.#anyway yeah I'm that meme of like:#'I can forgive x but I draw the line at [Tuvok no longer loving T'Pel]'#but that's also bc I love exploring nonmonogamous or straightforward relationships in media#bc listen...I refuse to believe that all aliens value or see monogamy in the same way humans do#anyway that's my lil chat in the tags for today#st voy#OH but also the angst of their bond being broken but Tuvok still loving T'Pel is delicious oh ym god....emotional guy...wife guy...#also I SAY 'I draw the line' but like - I'm still down v_v it's not that serious.
