how do you know you've fallen in love with someone you haven't touched:

i. you look at his picture and see more than just the sum of his parts. his arms aren't just arms anymore. his chest is no longer just a part of his body. his legs aren't just bones and flesh that make up a living person. they now start to look like foundations to a home; warm affection-inducing entities. ii. a picture of his body may only show rigidness. but once he moves them in certain loving ways or gestures, even just through video calls or screens, they stop being just body parts that serve basic motor functions to you. they are no longer just rigid bones and a common sight. they start to look more soft.. warm.. welcoming safe haven. iii. they now look like they have the capability to make you surrender in tenderness by just a mere hug; your head on his chest, your body trapped in his arms and you know you're all gone. iv. you're particularly not a showy person and you certainly are an uncertain person but just looking at his arms, chest, and stomach makes you so certain that being caged between them have the power to make you soft and make you hold his hands in public without any fear and care in the world. v. you know just a mere contact with his skin can produce homely, affectionate sensations. you know a real eye contact with him will be so intimate it'll intimidate the shit out of you. you know it will be terrifying. but you still pray to every god to make a way just for you to feel his skin against yours and to really stare closely in his eyes without the screen or camera or any layer blocking your way. vi. you find it ridiculous how overlooked, underrated, unappreciated, plainly seen as just bones and flesh these body parts are when someone out there begs the universe just to touch them. vii. you know they have greater and more immeasurable power to make you feel safer than your own bedroom. viii. the notion of the whole being greater than the sum of its parts start to move from your head to your heart.
