Writing is hard when it’s raining...
Ok, so because of the ridiculous weather we’re having in the UK at the moment, (and in the US from what I hear - I sympathise, Americans!) my energy is yo-yoing because the pressure is messing with my head. Yesterday I was a complete zombie all day. Today was slightly better as it’s the second day of low pressure so I’m sort of getting used to it, but even so, I’ve had to snatch little pockets of productiveness all day. If I’m in the mood to exercise then a dance workout will usually re-energise me for a little while, so that was enough to get dinner made, an important email written, and some more done on my new job search.
Now my energy has lapsed again and I know that taking a shower will pep me up again (something to do with pressure and negative ions).
Unfortunately I lack the mojo to get off my bed and my brain is back to feeling like cotton wool...
I’m really glad that this week is a light posting week and everything’s pre-written, because I’m gonna be good for nothing till the weather evens out. Tomorrow is set to be full on bright and sunny again - but again this brings with it an extreme pressure change.
Writing is hard when it’s raining - more specifically, when it shouldn’t be raining.
