It’s really hard to dress lolita while wearing hijab. I have to always explain to people that I’m not going to wear certain things (ie. tights) for modesty puposes. I always wear pants instead. Only other Muslim women who have the same problem can truly relate. I posted in a Lolita coord FB group and my post was removed for not being “lolita enough”. That’s not encouraging at all. But it’s going to be a continuous struggle because I will always put modesty before fashion. Thanks to all who give me and other Muslim lolitas encouragement and recommendations.
