earlier today i was washing my hands at the sink, wondering if i even know how to love, what does it even mean to love someone, and how to love someone. i've been feeling like i don't even know what love is, and don't know how to bring it in a positive way to a friendship or relationship.
immediately i looked down at the soap bottle. on the back of the bottle, it had an illustration of two people standing in a flower garden, one person holding a flower out to the other. the caption said something along the lines of love and relationships being like a garden with no rules, with only shared empathy as the key ingredient to maintaining a loving connection.
