Adam Jones habla para Yahoo! Music

Adam Jones ha atendido a una entrevista para Yahoo! Music donde principalmente ha estado hablando sobre el tema legal que les ha mantenido apartados de lo que realmente saben hacer, que es música, pero también ha hablado del nuevo disco, que presumiblemente estará terminado antes de final de año.

Adam también se ha referido al nuevo disco. 

“Tenemos acabado ya un tema y hay otros 10 que están en “varios estados de terminación”. Algunas canciones con realmente heavy, otras complejas y algunas más atmosféricas, pero todas suenan definitivamente a Tool. Haber pasado ya el proceso judicial va a hacer que la composición del disco se acelere y si bien el proceso de composición de Tool no está gobernado por ningún deadline arbitrario, queremos tenerlo acabado antes de final de año.”

It's happening. Again. 

Maynard: "I've been making regular trips to LA to check on the writing progress of my Tool brethren. Things a progressing nicely. Slowly, but definitely progressing. Nothing is recorded yet, but the guys are confident that the pieces are coming together swimmingly and will be ready for me to begin writing melodies and content 'soon'. I'm as anxious to get this album completed as everyone else. But as history will show, you can't rush these gents. Patience is Gold in this Sound Mine. In the meantime, as always, other things are simultaneously occurring. Life is too short not to create something with every breath we draw."

it does not take 9 fucking years to put out an album

Hundreds of bands put out beautiful, emotional, and artistic albums in regular intervals. Tool needs to either A. get their shit together and actually make an album or B. break up. I feel like B. is the more likely option.  Like this shit is so fucking painful to watch. "Oh we wrote a part of a riff today and the guys liked it #tool2015" Im sorry but I remember #Tool2012

and #tool2013

AND #Tool2014

Why wont they just admit they dont want to do this anymore. It wouldn't exactly be a surprise. People grow, they move on, gain other interests. That's so very obvious. Every single band member (except for Justin who i can tell is just as pissed as i am) has moved the fuck on they just dont want to admit it.
