I am like 90% sure Singh knows Barry is tf. I think that's why he wanted to honor tf after the meta attack. He knew Barry was most likely going to prison, and there wasn't anything he could do about it, so he at least wanted to show Barry what he thinks of him and how much he appreciates what he has done for the city. Also shows why he is willing to cover for him all the time. Not to mention, he's a freaking detective (1)

(2) I mean Barry was struck by lightning during the PE explosion (which obviously created most of the other metas) and in a coma for 9months. As soon as he's back, there are sightings of the flash. Then, directly after a crazy lightning storm, the flash disappears for 6months.... as does Barry. If he doesn't know by now I would be shocked.

I love this headcanon and I hope it’s proven true onscreen. It does stretch disbelief to imagine that Singh hasn’t noticed Barry is the Flash - especially after Barry cut out during the defense’s closing statements just as the Flash showed up to save the city.

I was really moved by Singh this episode, almost as much as I was by Iris.

I just want to understand how Wally can “replace” Jax/Stein even temporarily. He doesn’t have the skill sets either of them had, nor their powers. And they haven’t touched on his engineering side in forever.

I hope that was some kind of mistaken quote, because yeah, there’s no way Wally and Jax are comparable. Now if Legends remembers Wally is an engineer and uses it? That’ll be a miracle. But I think Wally is just gonna be on the show for a few episodes and then finally - hopefully - return to Flash.

You know, I have been pretty set on the idea that Iris' death fake-out is either something HR did or part of Savitar's elaborate pan, but could it be both? I'm thinkin maybe that's why Savitar is in the lab dressed like Barry. Maybe he goes to HR pretending to be Barry and asks him to face swap and stand in for Iris.

This could totally be Savitar revealing himself to the audience after he turns away from a convo with HR where he looked like our Barry. After all, we don’t see him with anyone while looking like this.

Or maybe it has something to do with this?

Either way, I could totally see Savitar infiltrating STAR Labs as Barry in a way that compromises HR, either to convince him to trade with Iris or in a way that makes HR feel guilty and leads him to switching with Iris on his own. But either way, it would be the outcome that Savitar wants because he has decided to keep Iris, lol.

One thing that has me so set on this is the way HR has been written all season. He isn't the brilliant scientist that everyone expected him to be and he probably feels like such a let down (something the team has probably helped him believe). While he has tried to contribute he probably sees himself as less essential than everyone else. Savitar would know how to play all of this to his advantage and push him to make the sacrifice. Especially if he already feels guilty about revealing something.

I agree with you about HR. There have been several hints that he’s the wild card and that he will sacrifice himself. It’s just a matter of whether he does it on his own, or if he’s prodded into it by Savitar himself. Either way works - but since I would like Savitar to want Iris alive, I’m leaning towards the latter option.

Barry and Iris breaking up over Savitar would have been so textbook tv show, I'm glad they avoided that. I understand wanting Iris not to say things like my life's not worth..., but I agree with her choices. Letting a murderer go free to save your own life is not something a hero would do, and Iris is a hero. Just not a showy one with a suit. I guess it all leads to discussions about whether any 1 life is worth several others.

I was not a fan of 3.16 or how they handled the break up there, but we can agree to disagree.

As for Iris’ choices, I agree with her too. She’s not the one I want to change, I would just like Wally or Joe or Barry to at some point in the next episode say: “Stop being a martyr. We are gonna save you no matter what it takes because you’re worth it,” lol. Even though she’s right! She needs to be the moral compass, I would just like someone else to reiterate how much she matters and how they’re willing to sacrifice for her.

I was actually thinking that the reason she might not be wearing the ring is because HR took it? Savitar knows that Barry and Iris are engaged, and if HR is going to make a convincing Iris, he'd have to be wearing the ring. Only thing I don't know how he would take it without her noticing. She'd probably have to give it to him and I don't see her being cool with that plan.

This is a good theory, and I agree with you that no way would Iris accept the idea of HR dying in her place. Maybe he offers to keep it safe for her or to clean it up or whatever, lol. You now something silly, and she agrees to humor him. Or she asks him to give it back to Barry after she dies because she’s given up hope, and he uses that to his advantage.

(1)There was one thing I was thinking about when I was rewatching 3x10. I wonder, if our predictions of Barry sacrificing himself to the speedforce is true, that if there will be some big explosion of light. The reason I wonder is because of the newspaper article from the future. He is so concerned with the byline, especially now knowing that Iris might die, that he might not realize that by preventing her fate he is pushing up his own. I know that this isn't a fight with the reverse-flash

(2) like the article says. But that doesn't mean the circumstances can't change. I just think that if they had something like that, it would be an interesting tie in to something that has been around since season 1 and how Barry has always been more concerned with the part about Iris than the part about himself. That he has always been more effected by what could happen to her than what could happen to him.(3) Sorry, that's just the crap I come up with at 3 in the morning.

Sounds like a solid theory to me! They did bring the newspaper back this season to begin with, so it’s possible. Barry definitely needs to learn to value his own life more, lol.

So Barry is going to try and sacrifice himself in the SF? That BOI is so dayyyum dramatic. However, I guess it shows that he's a hero, right 🙄 Why do that to the West's though? They would be equally devastating to lose either of them. No wonder he's at Cisco's. Just because he and Iris are no longer engaged doesn't mean she doesn't still love him. I'm thinking now that he must've been the one that decides to leave home. That running home to you song is sounding better and better.

Barry’s in his melodrama phase right now, thinking that Iris and Joe could stand to lose him and not Wally. But he’ll learn. And yes, his tendency towards sacrifice helps make him a hero. But he’s got to accept responsibility too and not just run away.

I also think “Runnin’ Home To You” will be another turning point for them.

Yeah, I have been thinking that Barry was going to "die"/get trapped in the speedforce since (at least) the crossover episodes. The story about his great grandparents just solidified it. I wonder now that as soon as they are reunited, he'll re-propose to her. Then we'll even get to see her answer and their kiss afterwards.

Was I the only one that when Barry says, there's another way, making the future. Our future, that thought about the Tornado Twins? Barry and Iris get it in every episode, she could get pregnant, at any time.

LMAO, I didn’t think it personally, but I doubt you’re the only one. Barry/Iris are gonna be a PSA for safe sex soon enough...
