Raise your hand if you always have a can of good ol' Johnson Paste Wax in your workshop. Wow! I see quite a few hands! I use this stuff almost every day. I frequently apply it to the sliding surfaces of my thickness planer, table saw, jointer, and hand planes to keep them nice and slippery. I also use a little JPW on extra-fine steel wool to protect and shine the black iron pipe I use in my "indrustic" tables. And I know this probably sounds crazy, but I wouldn't be surprised if you could even use Johnson Paste Wax on wood furniture!
