1x21: Tooms

Two banger episodes in a row! Tooms is back, he's been released from the psychiatric hospital due to lack of evidence. Mulder does everything possible to make sure he won't get his 5th liver and go back into hibernation.

Tooms is being extra gross in this one - travels through a toilet, licks his fingers after touching a rat, etc.

This is the first episode with Skinner! He tries to get Scully to snitch on Mulder

Mulder is stalking Tooms "can you help me find my dog?"

Scully calls Mulder by his first name for the first (and last?) time

"Mulder, I wouldn’t put myself on the line for anybody but you."

Tooms dies via being crushed by an escalator, what a way to go
