Tagging question game thing.
Tagged by Morgan
Rule #1: Post the rules.
Rule #2: Answer the questions, then make 11 new ones.
Rule #3: Tag 11 people and link them to your post.
Rule #4: Let them know you tagged them.
The questions I have to answer:
1. What’s your favorite candle smell?
Hmm, anything with vanilla smells heavenly to me.
2. Grab the book nearest you, turn to page 158 and type out the 7th sentence-not line, sentence.
"There's a reason God gave me ripped arms and pecs, dude." (from Let It Snow, specifically John Green's story, "A Cheertastic Christmas Miracle")
3. When you find a new tv series you want to watch, do you marathon through all of the episodes really quickly, or do you prefer to take your time and watch them over the course of a few months?
I usually marathon--like, I spent basically all of Christmas break my freshman year watching Doctor Who. But sometimes it takes me a lot longer, mostly because I'm pretty easily distracted.
4. Biggest platonic celebrity crush? (like, rather than wanting to hook up with them or something, you’d rather just hang out and have long conversations with them and be best buds)
Does John Green count? Either him or Colin Mochrie. (If this included dead famous people, we'd be hear a lot longer)
5. What is one thing you wish you could have right now?
Season 3 of Sherlock.
6. Last meal you ate?
Popcorn and Sprite at the movies. Which, granted, isn't much of a meal, so barring that--buffalo chicken wings.
7. How about your favorite mythical creature? And by mythical, I mean ranging from vampires and werewolves to sirens, harpies, and medusa. So, basically, anything.
Oh god oh god oh god I can't do this. Jeez, I have too many, but I'm going to say elves. (LotR elves, not Santa elves)
8. Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings? If neither, then what is your favorite fantasy series?
Harry Potter. Lord of the Rings might have been the *better* series in terms of literary merit and how it was written, but Harry Potter means a lot more to me personally and has much more interesting and compelling characters, in my opinion, in addition to being better paced. Tolkien was a world-building master, but JKR's strength really lies in her characters, I think.
9. Do you play any musical instruments? Any you wish you could play?
I play the clarinet sort of well. I really wish I could play the piano.
10. Have any collections?
Not unless you count all my books, haha.
11. One place you would love to travel to?
I want to travel a lot, but the one place I absolutely want to go to before I die is London.

Questions for the people I'm tagging:

2. Which do you prefer: science fiction or fantasy?
3. What book, if any, has influenced your life the most?
4. Have you thought of names for your potential future children? If so, what are they?
5. If humans ever came across aliens, what would you like them to be like?
6. What four historical figures would you like to see form a band?
7. What was the first "grown-up" TV show you remember watching?
8. Which family member are you closest to?
9. Do you know more than one language? If so, what ones do you know?
10. Favorite pun?
11. Pick one: Television, film, music, theatre, or literature.
