heartbreak does a lot to a man. and no matter how many times it happens, he always forgets how horrible it feels to have someone look at you like a stranger.

One day, I will be residing in a small cabin on the shore. My eyes, like the lens's of an old film camera, capturing the beauty in the still. Life will be beautiful then.

This world is not my home, I’m just passing through

Been going through the battle again.. the one of whether or not I’d be better off in the cold ground, or maybe my ashes shipped out to sea to be buried, or scattered from a lighthouse to drift in the wind and fly among the birds. I put my sidearm to my temple a few years back. Of course I’m still here, but it happened. I can’t deny that. I often wonder why I didn’t do it. I know why, but that will die with me. But I do wonder if there is more to it than that. I don’t know. Just some driveway talk.

Those summer days and nights meant something. Don’t ever forget them. Just because life is different now, doesn’t mean that those times didn’t helped shape us.
