Look at this from the Season 2 poster and tell me the writers weren't hinting at a ship between Topher and Frida. Just think how this could have possibly played out. The possibilities are endless.

i can't lie some of y'all frida ships are CRAZY but i'm not a hater not at all (i jokingly hate but it's not truly out of malice)....... in a way i understand where y'all are coming from (i'm looking at you tophrida gang)

i think there's a pseudo/intellectual discussion that can be had about character analysis and interpretation and how it affects the outcomes of how the character in question interacts with its environment. all this to say that canon frida? definitely not, canonically not in this case. but the "weird art kid that may or may not be a furry in disguise" frida? i definitely see it, it's possible, likely even (<- this is something i want to explore in Fridaverse [sorry i won't shut the fuck up about Fridaverse])

all in all tho, im glad at least most of us are past the steven-universe-2016-fanbase level of ship hating (seriously what the fuck was that)
