I could've sworn I posted it already, but I can't find it in my 1977 tag - so, here you go. The 77 F3 Monaco GP according to Sport-Auto issue 185, from July 1977.
I may've posted it before, but at least these scans should be a little sharper, with better settings on my scanner for magazines. Oh well.

Another episode of "nobody asked for it, but I shall nonetheless provide": Sport-Auto issue 191's annual reports on the 1977 seasons of Formula 2 and European Formula 3. Including, but limited to: old pictures of your pookie, some French guy(s) you've never heard of, one (1) elusive picture of the '77 F3 Monaco GP, a lot of numbers and race stuff and blabla and, finally, a big pic of Néné in his car on track.
I originally was going to just have the F2 section, but I like the Monaco GP pic too much not to share the F3 part as well lmao. Should have some familiar faces in there!
One of the things I often find but never post on this blog are tests - truth be told, I don't even read them. But, but, Auto-Hebdo back then did sometimes serve immense amounts of cunt with some of their test articles, and this is one of the them - because this is a test of an actual single-seater than has won shit. They'd test F1 cars sometimes, that's how far it went, but I'm presenting you tonight something a little more singular.
This is their test of the Martini MK21, an F3 car which is more widely known as the car which won the 77 F3 Monaco GP, from their 81st issue (September 22nd, 1977). It shows you so many cool pictures of it works, it's got French racing driver Davy Snobeck's opinions on it, and yes, you know why I'm posting it here, you don't need to me to make it explicit lol. But I genuinely think it's very interesting what magazines had access to back then!
And yeah, you know I had to include the cover for the issue (wink wink).
A quite short review of the 1980 F3 British GP at Silverstone, from the October 80 issue of Sport-Auto (issue number 225).
The reporters are quite confused about who they should support, because by the second-to-last race of the F3 season or something (this was towards the end of the season as far as I could tell through my scans, old F3 is very scarce to find info about, let alone anything that didn't happen in Monaco), two very worthy candidates (pictured here) deserved the title and also had the same amount of points.
The title is "Equality at the Lead" after all!

An article on Formula 3 from Sport-Auto issue 216, dated January 1980, titled "The Young Wolves do Formula 3". The article goes over every major European F3 championship from the 1979 season, which might be of interest to some people since it's so difficult to find info on these lesser-known series from older times.
I also post these in case you guys recognize your funky little guys! There are some familiar faces inside these pages, aren't they?
When it comes to magazines I own, there are two categories: those I buy with a plan in mind, an idea of what I want to find in them, and those I buy on a complete fucking whim for no good reason. This one is part of the latter category.
This is Echappement, a French motorsport magazine that was first published in 1968 and is somehow still around anymore, even if I can't say I've seen it come up a lot. In any case, it's never part of my usual round of magazine issues to order when I want to research something in particular. But this specific issue these photos are from is their 1973 photo special from December 1973.
I honestly only ordered it because eBay kept recommending it to me as I was looking through early-70s issues of literally anything else than it lol, but the cover caught my eye, and I figured - hey, it may have some vintage pics everybody forgot about. It does, mostly of cars being driven. All the pahes you've got there was those I was intrested in, but iirc, it also had rallye pictures - but since I don't know anything about rallye that isn't ouf of a Michel Vaillant issue, I'm not the most enlightened spirit to go through it.
Oh well. They do say better safe than sorry.
