“Wait- actually, what are you?”

You- kinda look like that one mew that comes by sometimes, so I’m guessing you’re one too...?

Asche: “Though I probably look like this due to some genetic weirdness... probably.”

“But I heard you guys can change forms. Are you changing your appearance, or is this what you really look like?”

“If it isn’t too intrusive of a question, tell me, why is it that you look the way you do?”

Asche: “But that’s good! Isn’t it? At least, knowing that there are things weirder than me gives me a bit of comfort.”

“Yeah, I also think a lot about how I’ll look after evolving! Although I might just look like a normal Raichu...”

Asche: “What if I become a really big Raichu? Ah- I’ve also been told that my body produces more electricity than a normal Pichu-- so maybe I’ll be a really powerful Raichu?”

“OH WAIT WAIT WAIT- WHAT IF-”

Asche: “SUPER big! SUPER powerful! SUPER fabulous! Like- a royal Raichu! or- an ultimate Raichu! a supreme Raichu!”

“An emperor Raichu!”

Asche: “Yoooo, Lucas!! You’re right, it’s been a while! Nice to see you again, buddy!”

Asche: “Although... if I had to say that something made me look different, then I’d put my finger on something that happenned some time ago, when I was younger...”

Asche: “I’m... not sure if it really has anything to do with it, but it’s the only remarkable thing that happened before my body started changing.”

“Or it could, y’know, just be nothing and the truth is that my parents either were some nature freaks or just took some really bad decisions.”

Asche: “Or- well, I’ve never seen a Lapras in person in the first place, just some pictures of them from my friend’s trainer Pokédex-”

“And you do look quite different!”

“Hehe, of course we can be friends! Mom used to say that you don’t need an excuse to make one, but having things in common sure helps! Oh- are you new in this ‘making friends’ thing like me?”

Asche: “Though it was something like... uh, like ‘pick someone you know that is not as much of a jerk as everyone else and stick with that son of a Ditto for as long as they’re useful’ ...o something along those lines”

“... Uh- yeah, eh- mom wasn’t exactly an expert in friendship things either...”

“B-Better not follow that advice, I guess”

Asche: “I’d like to see what’s coming next, but I’d also like to see what has already happened…”

“And I’d like to know more about a certain person’s past…”

Asche: “…”

Asche: “B- Wh- Gh- …!?”

Asche: “wAIT”

“You- You look a lot like me! Could it be that- are- are you a Pichu!?”

Asche: “M-My name’s Asche! What’s yours? What do you know about our species? A-And evolution? Do you plan on evolving? H-How??”

“This is the first time I’ve ever seen another Pichu!”

Asche: “W-Why is it heart shaped though?”

Asche: “Besides...”

Asche: “I have no idea how do they look. Do they have different markings? Are their ears as big as mine? Do they have less fluff? I- I’d like to meet one sometime... or a Pikachu... or a Raichu... or more Pokemon in general.”

Asche: “Uh... I think I had it somewhere over here...”

“Oh!”

Asche: “I can’t show it to you right now, since it is a place I just go  with veeery close friends!”

“But here’s a painting, so you can see how it looks! I painted it myself!”

“I found it by accident- and now it is my secret place! It’s a very nice place to look at the sunset”
