Top Model Tumblr AWARDS

Welcome fans, judges, and models of Top Model Tumblr!

TONIGHT we are excited to conclude our third cycle by presenting this season's models with the first ever Top Model Tumblr GLAMMY'S! Whether shady, fierce, or down right sickening, these awards are for the models who stood out from the pack during the game!

This season our models were put through some of the most challenging, original, and smizetastic photoshoots of all time. Along the way, our models were sent packing one by one until we reached our Top 3 finale. Being the closest race for the crown in the history of Top Model Tumblr, Brittany, Easa, and Troy all delivered modeling worthy of being Top Model Tumblr, but in the end Troy's transformation from busted to beautiful earned him the title as Cycle 3's Top Model!

The first award is for the SHADIEST MODEL! This award goes to the model who knew how to keep it shady, while keeping the other model's guessing, "Was that a read?"

EASA! Your shade game was on another level compared to your fellow models! While some of the models were too oblivious to recognize your highly intelligent shade, you read them to filth, but in the cleanest way possible!

EASA! Ever since we saw your first runway walks, we knew your strut was a force to be reckoned with. Serving us vogue realness with your signature model walks, you slayed the runway with ease, or should I say "with Easa?"

Our next award is for the "TOP MENTOR" This glammy will go to the model mentor who we felt best guided, advised, and transformed their models into alluring glamazons.

FAWN! Since the start of the game, your dedication to making the fiercest model team possible was apparent. Facing a number of twists that caused you to lose some of your favorite models, your ability to welcome and guide new models within your team was outstanding. Even though you weren't as present in the final weeks, your remaining model Brittany put all your tips and guidance to good use in the finale! 

The next glammy goes to the "MOST IMPROVED MODEL" This award is for the model who we felt improved the most throughout the duration of Cycle 3. Challenges and photoshoots alike, this model showed us that with passionate and ferocity one can evolve into a standout model!

TROY! At the start of the competition the judges were feeling more "WTF" than "OMG" with your photoshoots which eventually led to your elimination. After your come back from redemption though, you proved to us that you were a contender for the crown! Through studying and practice, your evolution into a Top Model was extraordinary!

The next award is called the "Top Model Tanner Award for Excellence in Modeling" This award goes to the model who Tanner felt best evoked the high fashion model ideal throughout the game.

EASA! From Tanner: “You've been the most consistently talented with the creative poses and photo shoots. You always serve high fashion, and you've built yourself a solid modeling portfolio with your submissions alone! You rarely let me down and I always had high expectations. You had little competition for this award! :)”

The next glammy is called the "KAYLEE T PERSONALI-T AWARD" and the person who receives this is the model who Kaylee felt delivered the most personality throughout the game.

Last but not least, our final glammy is the "MISS CONGENIALITY" award! The model who is awarded the Miss Congeniality title is the model who we believe was personable, cute n kind, and was always willing to help a fellow model.

BRITTANY! Brittany your bubbly disposition was like a ray of sunshine in the Top Model Tumblr house! While some of your fellow models pursued drama, your pursuit was one of kindness and self growth. You showed us that it pays to be fierce....annnd friendly! Congrats on earning the first ever MISS CONGENIALITY AWARD!

We'd like to thank each and everyone of you for your participation in this game. While I know a lot of you had to quit due to personal circumstances, you all had something interesting and exciting to bring to the table, and I loved watching it play out! I am so honored to have met all of the models, and I can't wait to see what's in store for cycle four!

Tumblr Tyra’s TOP 10 Photos of Cycle 3

For cycle 3, the photoshoots pushed our models to the limits of fashion, modeling, and personality. Tonight I'm giving you my TOP 10 photoshoots of the season! For the most part, three models in particular snatched my attention the most, but there were also some shining gems from other models! Let's start of with number 10 on the list......

#10: ROB - Model Polaroid

Being the youngest model to join the competition, Rob had a lot to prove with his first photos of the season. With his simple background, relaxed pose, and a sickening smize, Rob's model polaroid caught our eye and earned the first "top photo" of the season.

#9: SAM - Animals Instincts

For a while in the competition, Sam was having trouble bringing out his inner model. After a model swap that forced Sam to join #TeamFawn, things started looking better. With Fawn's guidance, Sam was able to embody the slithery snake for his Animal Instincts photoshoot. The subtle photoshopping, makeup, and touch of skin all helped bring Sam's image to top model status and he almost slithered his way to the top that week!

#8: BRITTANY - Extraterrestrial

Brittany's alien photoshoot proved something that she had alluded to throughout the game: gurllllll can do some sickening makeup! From the start of the competition, Brittany's makeup skills were always on point, and her alien inspired photoshoot left us in awe. Her attention to detail, color, and concept were all shining stars in this photoshoot.

#7 TROY - Finale Editorial “DIRTY GOLD” shot

After coming back from redemption and making it to the finale, this is the last thing I expected to see from Troy. With his Angel Haze album cover inspired image, Troy embodied the original hip hop spirit of his inspiration, but then brought it to another level with his amazing artistry. With his deadly smize and face adorned with sequins and jewels, Troy turned this shot into a prized possession and helped him earn the crown of Top Model Tumblr!

#6 EASA - Finale Editorial “OEIL” Cover

Easa brought out all the stops for his finale editorial cover. Even though he shot this in a room full of clothes, all eyes are on Easa! With his sultry smize and gleaming gold blazer, Easa showed us what he does best: modeling. Out of all the covers from the finale, Easa's read the most fashion magazine to me because it had the right amount of simplicity and wow factor!

#5 EASA - “Yellow” Color Photoshoot

Number 5 goes to another shot by Easa in the same color range. After seeing this image from Easa, I knew he was a contender for the crown. Inspired by the color Yellow, Easa served athletic model realness within this shot. His sharp eye for color combinations and textures also are reasons why this is one of my favorite shots of the season. Maybe Yellow is the new black?

#4: BRITTANY - Finale Editorial “Statue” Photo

One of my favorite shots from Brittany has to be from her Finale Editorial. Posing with a statue in the background, she embodied the modelesque shape of the statue, but added her own unique edge to the image. With an angelic pose, and a knack for finding her light in this image, Brittany gave the statue behind her a run for her money. Highlighting her long legs and serving the face, Brittany's image was statuesque and top model worthy!

#3: EASA - 7 Deadly Sins “Pride” Photoshoot

During our 7 deadly sins inspired photoshoot, I had the hardest time ranking Easa. While I loved the photoshoot, I didn't feel like he totally embodied the spirit of his sin--Pride. Setting concept aside, this photoshoot is one of my faves not only because of it's simplicity, but because Easa was able to combine color and emotion into one sickening shot. Had this been for another photoshoot, it may have very well earned Top Photo!

#2 BRITTANY - Makeover Photoshoot

If there is any shot that I will remember Brittany by...it's this one! Typically being the sweet and kind girl next door, I never expected Brittany to bring out her inner bad girl. Everything about this image screams Top Model. From the pose, flash of skin, and the eerie lighting, Brittany captured the true essence of a makeover photoshoot. Not being afraid to do something unexpected, Brittany earned top photo that week for her sheer fierceness. If Brittany ever competes again, I’d love to see her alter ego bad girl diva come to life once more, just don’t snatch my wig gorl!

#1: TROY - Extraterrestrial

Ladies and Gents, this has to be my favorite photoshoot of the whole season. The photos that I consider to be top photo material are ones that can evoke emotions within the viewer, while also maintaining the model status that is needed for a fierce shot. After seeing this shot by Troy, I knew that his other competitors would start taking him more seriously. One of my favorite parts about this shot is how well it can be related to his alien inspired story about an alien who is searching for other planets that are habitable for his race. There is something alluring while still frightening about his smize, and it makes me question, can this extraterrestrial be trusted? The natural greens and browns of the scenery behind helped Troy pop with his blue dominated wardrobe and makeup. For me this cycle, Troy's shot is the best executed and most complete representation of modeling, photography, and fashion.

Top Model Tumblr: A WINNER is crowned!

Brittany, Easa,and Troy, you all stand before me as fierce, beautiful, but most of all transformed models. Throughout the competition you have all said that you wouldn't want to be here with anyone else, and tonight your wish has been granted because somebody from "BET" will be crowned Top Model Tumblr! Each and every one of you has delivered and deserves to have a spot in the finale, BUT only one of you can win. 

Before we crown a winner though, let me remind you of your prizes IF you are crowned Top Model Tumblr! -A $30 amazon gift card, along with a $15 gift card for your mentor (Brittany/Easa) -A crown designed by Tumblr Tyra that will be customized for the winner after our official crowning -The opportunity to judge or participate in other aspects of Cycle 4! With that said, the judges and I must say that this was the hardest season yet when it came to determining a winner. In a season of nearly all guys, it seems fitting to have two modelesque men in the finale. This was the closest final 2 ever, and you both should be extremely proud of yourselves.
